Got a website already that looks good but doesn't have all the features or benefits of an RC Club Alliance website? Don't worry, just customize your new RC Club Alliance website!
The design of the website can be changed in many ways. While we require the general page structure to remain the same most of the images that make up the design can be changed. The page background can also be changed.
It is also worth noting that our websites come complete with two built-in designs - one for normal width screens (800x600 and above) and one for wider screens (1024x768 and above). Check our Live Demo to see this feature in action. You can choose to have this feature disabled if you wish.
Pages can easily be removed or added. We believe we have provided the majority of menu items that any club could desire but if in the event there is something you want added or removed then please don't hesitate to get in touch using the Technical Support System
(support.rccluballiance.com).
Suggestions for improvements will not be ignored as we are always striving to offer the best. New suggestions will also be offered to existing customers where applicable.
The most common request is removing unused menu items. If this is the case then please rest assured that they can be re-activated at a later time. We want to be sure that your club can grow into all the menu/page options that we currently offer.
Just like the pages and menu items, features can be removed/hidden from the website. Please be aware that some features are linked and removing one may result in another feature being deactivated. Features that have been deactivated can be reinstated at a later time.

There are two types of default page background available to clubs:
- Solid color background
- Fading background
Background colors are represented by HTML color codes, also known as hex codes. When requesting a change of color from the default please use the hex code value.
The solid colors available for the website can be chosen by viewing our
color code chart (includes color and hex code).
Our websites are currently offered in British English
and US English
. In the future we hope to add more languages.
Suggestions and contributions to language options from the RC community will be well received and greatly appreciated.
Favicon (short for Favorites Icon) is a feature that makes it possible to associate a special logo or other small graphic with a web page. The favicon is usually displayed next to the web site address. Much like the way shortcut icons are used on the computer desktop to distinguish computer programs and files, favicons can be used to personalize or brand websites.
There are some minor differences in the way browsers display favicons. For example, Firefox 1+ (Mozilla-based) browsers display the favicon on the address bar and browser tabs. Internet Explorer 5/6+ browsers display the favicon on the favorites menu and on the address bar. Mozilla/Firefox and most other supported browsers will start displaying the favicon on the browser address bar, the first time you visit a page that has a favicon.
Internet Explorer browsers (as of version 6.x) associate favicons with bookmarks. So you must first bookmark the web page. The favicon will appear on the browser address bar and on the favorites menu, the second time you visit the bookmarked page. If the favicon doesn't appear even after bookmarking and revisiting the web page, restarting the browser may help. Internet Explorer 7+ behaves in a similar way to Firefox.
